Abortion is free for people who live in the ACT from GPs and services listed here. Free abortion is provided with support from ACT Government.
It is free even if you are international student or on a temporary visa as you do not need to have Medicare.
You may need to show some proof that you live in the ACT, for example, a Drivers Licence or a recent bill with your name on it showing your ACT address.
Some of these services are part of the ACT Reproductive Health Data Incentive Fund.
